Mrs. Ila Mai Allen
CAMDEN Services for Mrs. Ha Mai Allen, 75, will be at 1
p.m. Sunday at Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. W.
T. Russell and the Rev. John Hedges officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Allen, widow of Theo
R. Allen, died Thursday night at Ridgewood Health Care
Center in Milan after a short illness. She was a native of
Benton County and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Oterra Bawcum and Mrs.
Donna Stone, both of Camden, Mrs. Sandra Spence of Sugar
Tree and Mrs. Shirley Ellis of Bridgeview, Ill.; a son,
Theo Allen Jr, of Bridgeview; three sisters, Mrs. Viva
Arnold, Mrs. Elah Jones and Mrs. Louise Forrest, all of
Camden; two brothers, Millard Smothers of Camden and
Herschell Smothers of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and a
great-grandchild.1
