Mrs. Julia Smothers
CAMDEN Services for Mrs. Julia Smothers, 85, will be at 2
p. m. Saturday at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home with the
Rev. Leonard Greer and the Rev. J. D. Abbott officiating.
Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery. Mrs. Smothers died
Thursday at Benton County General Hospital after a long
illness. She was a member of Bible Truth Baptist Church.
She leaves her widower, J. H. Smothers of Camden; four
daughters, Mrs. Ila Allen, Mrs. Viva Arnold, Mrs. Elah
Jones and Mrs. Louise Forrest, all of Camden; two sons,
Millard Smothers of Camden and Herschell Smothers of
Cuttawa, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Lola Fowler and Mrs.
Etheel Shedden, both of Bruceton, and Mrs. Vannie Rogers of
Huntingdon; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and
three great-great-grandchildren.3
