Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Cole, the aged parents of Postmaster Cole, at Garfield, met with a very unfortunate and serious accident while out driving Thursday of last week. Their team ran away, and both were thrown out, Mrs. Cole receiving a fracture in one arm, and Mr. Cole had three ribs broken and both were badly bruised about the body. It was feared that Mr. Cole's injuries would result seriously, but he was reported better Wednesday, Mrs. Cole is doing as well as could be expected.³
