Seaborn J. Butler Of Friendship Dies
BRUCETON, Tenn. Seaborn Johnson Butler, 99, retired farmer
and former road commissioner and school board member, died
yesterday at his home in Friendship community, after a long
illness. Services will at 2:30 pm today at Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church. The Rev. Neil Butler and the Rev. J H.
Hedge will officiate and burial will be in church cemetery.
Butler was a lifelong resident of the Friendship community,
son of Mr. and Mrs. William Butler. He was a member of the
Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons. Clvde
and Lyman Butler, Friendship, Ed H. Butler, Bruceton; two
daughters, Mrs. Mattle Camp, Holladay, Tenn. Mrs. Earnest
Cole Madison, Tenn.; and 20 grandchildren.3
