Robert "Bobby" Gerald Boyd (April 16, 1933 - December 16,
2017)
Mr. Robert "Bobby" Gerald Boyd, 84, of Huntingdon,
Tennessee, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at his
home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December
20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Humbles Cemetery. Bro. Doug
Sellers will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of
Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and
on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Boyd was born April 16, 1933, to the late Robert Ivan
and Mary Sudie (Abbott) Boyd. He was retired from the CSX
Railroad as a Conductor and attended Holladay Chapel Church
of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife,
Loretta Ann (Springer) Boyd in 2011, and a grandson, Robert
Jeremy Crossett in 2004.
He is survived by two, Deborah Ann Lewis (husband Tim) of
Bay Minette, Alabama and Bobbie Jean Bowling (husband
David) of Jackson. He also leaves two grandchildren, Jacob
Glen Crossett, Brittney Marie Bowling, two great grandsons,
Caleb Skyler Crossett and Jace Jeremy Crossett, and his
faithful companion, Teddy.1
